A few of our younger patients find that administering a sedative prior to or during treatment is helpful. The doctor might be concerned that the child is unable to sit still or follow the instructions. It is possible that the child will not tolerate normal anesthetics. These children may not be able to receive regular dental care. The right sedation is crucial for their oral health.
Dr. Michel is certified and experienced to provide light sedation with nitrous oxide.
A parent or guardian should accompany a child who is receiving moderate or deep sedation. Contact us for more information about our sedation services and to schedule a consultation concerning care for your child.

"My daughter loves going to see Dr. Alicia Michel. She's always so pleasant, kind, and gentle. The nurses at the front desk are also very nice. The wait is never long, the atmosphere is always bright, and the office is very clean. The toys at the end of the visit are the cherry on top! 😊"

“I took my kids today to see Dr. Michel and it was a great experience. Beginning with the friendly front desk staff and then the assistants and hygienist!! The entire staff is loving, patient and kind. Although my son was extremely anxious and uncooperative, Dr. Michel was patient and understanding and helped him overcome the moment and have a great checkup.
Very happy to have found this practice. Thanks ladies.”
